Terms of Service
Last updated: 07/08/2026
What the service is
TCG Grading Portal is a service that estimates the condition of collectible cards (TCG) from photographs, using artificial intelligence. It is not an official physical grading service, and the estimated grade has no value equivalent to a grading issued by entities such as PSA, BGS or CGC, which examine the card physically. The grade is an estimate based on photographs and may differ from the grade a professional grading service would assign to the same card, especially on intermediate conditions (Good/Light Played/Played) and on defects that can only be detected by touch (e.g. surface, slight bends).
Account and credits
- A registered account is required to use the service (no anonymous access).
- Every successfully completed analysis consumes credits from your balance; credits are purchased via Stripe Checkout, at the prices shown in the "Credits" panel of your account at the time of purchase.
- Credits already consumed (analyses already completed) are non-refundable. If an analysis fails due to a service error, the corresponding credit is not charged.
Right of withdrawal
The credits you purchase are digital content supplied immediately (the analysis is available right after purchase). Under art. 59, paragraph 1, letter o) of the Italian Consumer Code, by confirming the purchase and giving the consent requested at checkout, you accept that the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once the supply of digital content has begun.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to upload unlawful content, attempt to circumvent the credit system, carry out unauthorised automated/bulk use, or interfere with the site's operation. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the estimated grade matches the grade you would get from a physical grading service, nor are we liable for purchase, sale or valuation decisions you make based on the estimate provided. Links to CardMarket/CardTrader are provided for informational purposes; we do not manage or guarantee transactions on those platforms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, if you are a consumer, the competent court is that of your place of residence or domicile.
Changes
We may update these terms; significant changes will be communicated in the app. The date at the top of this page indicates the last update.
